Balochistan govt urges politicians to avoid politicising CPEC

Quetta—The Balochistan Government spokesman has urged all the political parties to avoid politicizing China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) for the cause of betterment of their province. Talking to APP here on Friday, Spokesman Anwar-ul-Haque Kakar said that political leaders of Balochistan should avoid politicizing CPEC.

“Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is sincere to Balochistan and he wants to bring progress and prosperity in the province to remove sense of depriva-tion among local people. The local political leaders should avoid politicizing and making CPEC controversial,” he said.

He said that holding of All Parties Con-ference in Islamabad today (Friday) on CPEC showed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to the devel-opment of Balochistan. “All the stakeholders including from Balochistan attended APC in Islamabad presided by Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif which has proved that the nation is united to foil the nefarious designs of the enemies of Pakistan,” he said.

He said that western route of CPEC would be completed timely which would make Gwadar Deep Seaport completely operational besides bringing huge busi-ness and investment in Balochistan.—A
