January 31, 2015

QUETTA: The head of the Southern Command Lt-General Naseer Janjua has said that the completion of local government elections would help improve the law and order situation in Balochistan. Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and other senior leaders of the provincial government were called to the Southern Command here on Friday.

“The government, elected councilors, chairmen and deputy chairmen of local bodies, and the people of Balochistan deserve congratulation sand appreciation for peacefully concluding the local bodies polls,” he said.

“It is a clear message that Baloch people are peace lovers.” Lt General Janjua said it was because of the hard work of coalition partners in the provincial government that Balochistan became the first province in Pakistan to have functional local governments.
